Description
Morning glory, Grandpa Ott, a profusely flowering vine, is a favorite for heirloom gardens, easy to grow, easy to contain, bringing purple beauty from late spring through fall. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees of all kinds and is an annual in my zone 7 southern Maryland garden. Not invasive. Always welcome. In this image it twines gently through the lush yellow green foliage of a hydrangea in dappled shade.
