July 4, 2009: I found him on the beach, upside-down, immobile. Gently turning him over, I realized he was still barely alive. The tide was coming in. As each wave struck, he grew stronger. I watched as he swam back into the bay.

Raised in Southern Maryland, Rebecca has an innate love of the rural environment, and her macro and landscape photography brings that emotion to life.
